Register As a Volunteer

Create an Account on this system (armonkunited.org) and log in.
Click the blue "Volunteer" button on the left pane
Click on orange "Find Volunteer Opportunities" button in the upper right hand corner
Select "Head Coach" or "Assistant Coach" role, click "Sign Up" and then "Continue" button. The certification requirements for assistants are identical to head coaches.
Select yourself or an existing linked family account to for this volunteer role. You can also create a new linked family member account in this step by clicking "Sign Up a Family Member". Click "Continue" button.
Fill out the registration form completely, making sure all required fields (*) are not left blank and click "Continue" button
On the next page click "Click Here to eSign" button and then "Continue" button.
On the next page that looks like a PDF form scroll down and type in your name in the yellow box. Make sure all the information on the form is correct. Scroll all the way down and click "Continue To Review" button
The form should appear to be signed and dated now. Click "Submit signed volunteer application" button.
Don't exhale yet. YOU ARE NOT DONE! Check your email. You should be getting an email from [email protected] with subject line "Here's the link to complete your AYSO volunteer application" containing the link and instructions on how to create an account on their system and complete criminal background application. That link will only be active for 72 hours so please make sure to complete this step promptly. If you haven't received that email check your "Spam" folder.
Verified Volunteers charges $25 to run the background check which should be paid automatically out of the club's account. If for some reason that does not work, please pay with your credit card and save the emailed receipt. Email the receipt to dmitry.reznikov at gmail dot com and the club will reimburse you the cost.
Upon successful completion of the background check you should get an email confirmation from [email protected] with subject line "American Youth Soccer Organization has reviewed your background check" .
Your "Volunteer" page on armonkunited.org should now say "ELIGIBLE" in the upper right hand corner.
If you haven'received an email confirmation or status remains "PENDING" in grey letters, then you haven't completed the application properly. Log into Sterling Volunteers website, check the status of your application, and complete as required. If you haven't created profile on their website then find their email and use the link to create one and complete the application
If your page says "Pending Invite", click the "Submit Background Check" button and follow the directions to complete the background application. Upon successful completion of the background check you will get an email confirmation from Sterling Volunteers and your volunteer status should change to “Eligible”.
If your page has blank space in the upper right hand corner, then you haven't completed your background check. Log into Sterling Volunteers website, check the status of your application, and complete as required. If you haven't created profile on their website then find their email and use the link to create one and complete the application
When you are done, the volunteer page on your ArmonkUnited.org should say “ELIGIBLE” in the upper right hand corner
If you have tried all of the above and the badge is still blank then email Coach Admin either of the two things below
